Glenn MacnamaraGlenn spent his childhood in Scotland where, through family influence, he was introduced to the music of Jazz and Standards of the American songbook. His passion for music grew and he performed his concert debut at the age of 15. Since then he has been performing in concert all over the world. He has performed for the Duke and Duchess of Wessex at Hampton Court Palace, has performed with Frank Sinatra’s guitarist, Lino Patruno in Rome, performed at the P.P.I. Music and Radio Awards, Dublin, the G-MEX Arena in Manchester and the famous 606 Club in London.
At the age of 19, Glenn was successful enough to win a scholarship to the prestigious Guildford School of Acting and gained a B/A Hons degree in Musical Theatre. Since leaving drama school Glenn has continued his career in musical theatre, jazz and swing music performing regularly with his own quartet, The Big Swing. He also works with S.M.A Productions playing Frank Sinatra in The Rat Pack’s Back and with Calibre Productions in their show The Kings of Swing/Absolute Swing. In these productions he works alongside Swing City and The London Swing Orchestra. Now in his mid-twenties Glenn is concentrating on recording his first album.
