Rio Jazz are a top-notch duo/trio from Brazil playing the best of celebrated songwriters such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Joao Gilberto, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil and Vinicius de Moraes among others.

With vocals destined to delight and the very best of acoustic guitar, the Rio Jazz duo line-up is excellent for unobtrusive background jazz during cocktails and dinner parties. The focus on the laid back, sophisticated classics of Brazilian Bossa Nova provide a lively, intimate atmosphere.

As a trio the group add the enchanting power of Brazilian percussion, enhancing the ambience at any event whilst still allowing guests to talk freely and, at smaller events, dance. The Rio Jazz trio's repertoire includes Brazilian samba, swing, and Bossa Nova plus a few exclusive versions of well-known English songs. Perfect for weddings, corporate functions and happy hours.

Rio Jazz Trio is currently a resident band at Guanabara and has already played at venues around London including Canning House, The Gun, Made in Brazil and the VIP area of Wembley Stadium in the England x Brazil football match.
