Eclipse String Quartet

Eclipse is a young, all male, charismatic electric string quartet. The members of the group are Alexander Lyon, Rustom Pomeroy, Ben Lee and Dominique Pecheur.

They formed at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Royal College of Music, where they obtained their music degrees. Eclipse have a wealth of experience performing for the corporate and record industry. They supported McFly at Wembley Arena in 2005, and early in 2007 they performed to a packed auditorium at the Royal Albert Hall for the Barnardo's Centenary Concert. They are also featured in pop videos with Lucie Silvas and McFly, and have toured with Amici Forever. Earlier this year they supported Natasha Marsh on her UK tour.

Eclipse have also recently been exploring performance opportunities in the Far East; in 2007 they were the subject of a Chinese music documentary, which followed their recent Royal Albert Hall performance, recording interviews and rehearsal sessions.

Their repertoire is extensive, ranging from classical and jazz to contemporary music. They aim to bridge the gap between classical and rock with their original and innovative approach to music, performing exciting and upbeat concerts on state-of-the-art instruments.

If you're looking for a quartet with a contemporary edge, Eclipse are the perfect find.
