From concerts and recitals to corporate commissions and weddings, BSQ enjoys a reputation of engaging performances and high calibre professional entertainment.

Formed 4 years ago from graduates of London’s Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of music, BSQ regularly thrills audiences in the UK’s concert halls, venues, corporations and institutions. Recent engagements include:

As individual players, BSQ’s musicians have worked under the batons of many of the worlds leading conductors, including Mazaal, Haitink and Mackerras with orchestras such as the English Chamber Orchestra and Philharmonia, and with contemporary acts including Elton John, Arctic Monkeys, Mel C, McFly, Westlife, Gorillaz, Katie Melua and Will Young to name a few.

Electric or Classic?

BSQ offers a range of programmes to suit different tastes and occasions. As classical musicians, we offer a background music package. Played on acoustic/classical instruments, this is where we typically accompany a drinks reception, dinner party, wedding reception or media event. This background option is also available as an electric string quartet. Performed on electric violins, viola and cello, we provide sound equipment an attractive visual element to your occasion.

Sex?

The original BSQ is with f our young male musicians, but the exact line-up is flexible. If you'd prefer all girls, or a mixture, please just let us know.

Requests and Arrangements

If there’s a special piece you wish to hear (it could be a song, theme tune or one of your own ditties!) we would be more than happy to arrange and play it for you.

As graduates of London’s top music colleges, The Belgravia String Quartet have studied composition and arrangement formally. Previous works have included a Fantasy for violin and orchestra performed by the South Bank Sinfonia, and string arrangements for Polydor, Parlophone, Domino, Island, and Universal Records and the BBC.
