Mark Adams as Dean Martin

Many superstars have dominated the American recording scene, but none shone more brightly than Dean Martin. Born Dino Paul Crocetti, and a member of the iconic Rat Pack alongside Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr, Martin’s superb romantic voice, laconic style and Italian good looks, took him to the top of both the record and movie charts. He appeared in 51 movies, with starring roles alongside Marlon Brando in Young Lions, John Wayne in Rio Bravo, Hollywood or Bust with Jerry Lewis and Oceans 11 with his Rat Pack buddies.

The original and the best

Mark Adams is the original and the most acclaimed Dean Martin from the worldwide box office smash and Olivier nominated show "The Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas". He took the role first at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, the Strand Theatre and then The Savoy and later opened the show in its Canadian premier at the Canon Theatre in Toronto.

From London to New York

Last year he toured in his own show “That’s Amoré”; a celebration of Dean Martin based on Dean’s successful TV show for NBC that ran for over 10 years. This led to many opportunities for Mark to perform as Dean all over the world, playing the London Palladium, Royal Albert Hall, Starlight Roof of the Waldorf Astoria, Castell de Peralada festival, Casino Barcelona and headlining on many cruise ships. On TV he performed with The Rat Pack on “GMTV”, “This Morning”,  “Saturday Swings” and “Des and Mel”. Mark can be heard on the original cast recording of the show, plus the official DVD.

Other roles on television include three series of “Doctors” for the BBC playing the role of Phil Thompson. Other television includes “Holby City”, “Eastenders”, “American Voices” for the BBC. “Brookside”, “Manageress 1” and “Manageress 2” for Channel 4, “Men Behaving Badly”, “Insiders”, “Roy’s Raiders”, “No Frills”; all BBC. “London’s Burning” and “The Bill” for ITV. “Hollywood Sports” for YTV. Films include “Paracelsus” for Restoration Pictures, “The Big Swap”, for Moonlit Films and “Jesus Christ Superstar” for The Really Useful Company and Golgotha films.
