Robin Holloway – Piano/Keyboards/Vocals/Composition

Originally from Chicago, Robin Holloway has been working as a jazz musician for over 10 years. He was a double-major in classical and jazz piano at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, where he was lucky enough to study with some of the jazz world’s foremost musicians, including Grammy-winning pianist Laurence Hobgood. He came to London in 2006 and completed his Masters degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2007. Since that time, he has worked as a pianist/composer/theatrical performer and recording artist in London and continental Europe.

Equally at home on stage as an actor, Robin has co-written and co-composed several theatre pieces, including a musical-comedy show entitled Cosmic Jazz Cabaret, which he performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008. He brings his theatrical intuition and a charming, philosophical sense of humour to every performance.

Giovanni Cacioppo – Guitar/Mandolin/Composition

A native of Sicily, Giovanni Cacioppo has been active on the Italian music scene from a young age. Throughout his career he has immersed himself in a wide diversity of styles, ranging from traditional Jazz and Blues to Afro-Brazilian, Latin Mambo and Italian Folk-music. While living in Italy, he was involved with numerous musical projects, including a jazz/blues band called “500 Blues Mobile.” As part of a guitar-duo entitled “Babel”, Giovanni experimented with modern jazz music, but also deepened his knowledge of traditional Gypsy jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt.

In addition to his mastery of the guitar, Giovanni has extensive performing experience on the Mandolin in a variety of settings and styles, including avant-garde jazz as well as traditional Neapolitan ballroom dances.
